It's not about the resources, but about the hassle of finding stuff.

yeah, well, you can still have tabs and tiling, i don't plan to take those away..

but yeah, i know there is a hack with "&", but if i'm not mistaken the program's output gets lost that way? that was my main intent, having outputs yet still be able to enter new commands.. and having this option be the default because why not..

and for implementing it myself.. i dunno, i would need a terminal program that's simple enough to make significant changes to.. st maybe? it's still written c so i dunno.. <_<

I'd need a lot of trucks to do that.

sounds like a job for the aircraft carrier form factor. ;)

but yeah i'm not really concerned with enterprise monstrosities, my heart belongs to personal computing.
