building this was relatively easy, you just need equal stripes of black paper (i chose edge ratio 1:16 for obvious reasons) then glue them together to squares, and then assemble the whole thing and fixate it with glue. you might cut off some of the outer corners a bit to get a smoother look.

white headed pushpins are used to attach it to the wall.
